Regarding yesterday’s post about politics(Romanian only, sorry), it seems that for the first time some pool predicts a slight advantage for Traian Basescu and his party, the main countercandidate to the present Romanian power. I definitely hope so, just as I was hoping it for the last romanian elections too, and for the usa elections as well. Besides, the 3% error predicted by the pool is definitely big enough to make the 0.4% difference between the candidates look rather ridiculous.
Anyway, on sunday there will be the Romanian general elections. It will decide which party gets the Parliament majority and therefore the dictatorial power during the next 4 years. And since the current party seems to have made some apparent errors in the negociations with UE, and many obvious internal bad things as well(highest economical debts, highest poverty in Europe, the European peak of corruption, etc), it looks like whomever gets the power will be having a really hard time. For democracy’s stake, however, I hope it’s not the current guys and mafia that will win again.
Pe vremea asta…
