As I have promissed in a previous post , I post here my current template, settings and plugins. Ok, it is a bit difficult to use, but still may be useful for you out there who try to get the best out of textpattern.
Disclaimer:
- there are bugs
- there are (possibly) incomplete files
- there are some weird fragments within the form files (because of my futile attempt to use trackback) – you should remove them.
Good luck using them:
Excerpt from the readme file:
DESCRIPTION: these files represent my current settings, hacks and templates, as used on 02/11/2004, on my website www.alexbrie.net .
LICENSE: None. To be used by any impatient textpattern user.
The TEMPLATES:
the .txt files here are to be pasted into the corresponding pages managed by textpattern.
You also MUST change the texts within the page template, as they are copied as-is from my page.
The PLUGINS:
The plugins are to be pasted within the page containing the code of another plugin in tha admin section. This is because for the moment I don’t know how to build a working plugin, and I don’t think the effort is worth it.
The HACKS:
The .php hacks are made so as to directly show the comments just below each article, even in the article lists forms. I like it more this way, but if you don’t care about this detail, please do not use them. They are in no way a plugin, so they may crash your textpattern installation.
What I did is modify some of the files of the Textpattern 1.0rc1 (20 Sept) release. They belong to different folders, so if you want to use them, you should find their paths yourself. I do not garantee that they are the files I actually modified, so… use them on your own risk.
