update Looks (see the comment below) that Kottke isn’t into “blog begging” anymore, he got himself some other revenue strem. (hmm… I should check his site a bit more to find his secret)

a while back (maybe october 2005), i emailed jason kottke asking if i could send him a donation and he graciously declined with a personal email; he’s not accepting donations any more, nor are there ads on the site. how is that indicitive of begging?

Ok, sorry then, I didn’t know about that; it looked like a direct reference to Kottke to me…
